English book about Akumal created by the kids at HB!

As Rachel Carson wrote: "It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility." One day in English class we decided to take a walk around Akumal, making sure to keep our eyes and ears open to everything we experienced. The children yelled out what they were seeing, hearing, smelling, and feeling (all in English!) while we walked. This is our story that we created from that walk. Enjoy!
