You've all been asking for another chance to
own some of Gary Bemis's artwork goodies. We now have the answer to your
wishes!
The
Akumal Library is pleased to announce that we once again will be offering one
of Gary’s Tortuga paintings as first prize in the Akumal Library’s fall raffle. The painting is a signed print but will not be framed as shown in the picture below.
Second prize is a Loco Gringo cooler also painted by Gary.
Third prize is a Mayan wall hanging made by the
children of the library.
We are very
pleased to be able to offer these beautiful pieces of art for your enjoyment!
As an additional bonus, this raffle will be
a twofer! We have a couple of regular
Library donors that have offered to match all ticket sales up to $2,500!! All proceeds will go to support the Akumal
Library.
As always, we encourage you to buy now and
buy often, for your chance to own these beautiful items, and in turn help the
children and families of the Akumal area.
We wish each and every one of you the best
of luck, and thank you so much for yet again helping us to keep the doors of
the Akumal Library open for the children and families of the Akumal area so
that we can continue to offer them
extended educational opportunities throughout the year ahead.

our blog for $20.00 per ticket. Simply click on the "Donate" button above. Once you have purchased your ticket we will
send an email with your ticket number. Raffle
tickets can be purchased until November 15, 2012. At that time, we will draw the winning
tickets and post the results here.
